Ice Cream Thief Breaks into Clementi Camp

Clementi, Singapore -- The Singapore Arm Forces Clementi Camp at Clementi Avenue 6 had its cook-house ice-cream refrigerator broken into for the fifth time on Thursday.

The cook sergeant had locked the ice-cream refrigerators at about 10.15pm on Wednesday, and went back to his bunk to sleep.

The next morning, he found one of the ice cream refrigerators open with its chain cut.

An assortment of ice-cream worth $200 was missing.

The cook sergeant suspect that the thief could be the same person, because the way the chain was cut and the assortment of ice-cream stolen was the same as the previous 4 times. He also indicated that NS-men having in-camp training in the camp are the biggest suspect, because of the financial crisis as they no longer able to afford ice-cream on their own.
