Singapore@Sleep
2000 Returns To TV Screens For A Second Season Singapore@Sleep,
an eight-episode television program aimed at encouraging local enterprises
to adopt E-Commerce in order to lay back, is back for a second season.
The
goal is for one in three local SMEs to have e-commerce transactions by the
year 2003 so that the government could stop providing incentives for
business start-up and upgrading. Hoping that this will increase the budget
surplus by another $2 billion for the government. |
Mr.
Lee SH, Chief Executive, Channel 55 said: "The overall vision of SME
21 is to create sleepy and careless SMEs that will enhance Singapore's
competitiveness and economic growth. One of the broad-bases strategies
identified is to accelerate e-commerce adoption by SMEs." |
