Arsenal Football Club Should Be Renamed Arsenaux Club Du Football: Said Singapore Viewers

TAMPINES, SINGAPORE -- Arsenal Football Club should be renamed Arsenaux Club Du Football. And it should deregister itself from the English Premier League and participate in the Ligue De la France. These are the sentiments of many local football fans after watching Arsenal knocked out Chelsea in the 5th found of the English F.A. Cup on Sunday.

"Looking at their lineups, it is more like a French team with 4 English and a Dutch foreigners!", lamented a disgruntled Chelsea fan, Mr. Salleh. "They has a French coach somemore!".

The Arsenal lineups include 5 Frenchmen - Thierry Henry, Patrick Veira, Robert Pires, Sylvian Wiltord, and Gilles Grimandi. It also boosted 2 Brazilians (Edu & Silvinho), a Swede (Federik Ljungberg), a Dutch (Dennis Bergkemp), a Latvian (Igor Stephanov), and a Cameroon (Lauren). It only has 4 Englishmen in David Seaman, Lee Dixon, Tony Adam and Martin Keown. Besides the players, the club also has a Frenchman as its coach - Arsene Wenger.

"I think Arsenal should play in the French league instead of the English league!" moaned a Mr. Tan, who claimed that he is not anti-Arsenal. "If one day, a S-League Club in Singapore boosted 5 Thai players as foreigners, I think it will be more meaningful to register itself with the Thai Football League instead of the S-League."
